QUTV ANNUAL FILM

Since 2023, QUTV has built a thriving platform where filmmakers, crew members, screenwriters, and actors come together to create and share original stories. This collaborative ecosystem has led to the production of QUTV’s in-house films; projects developed and executed entirely by students. Shot in Kingston, these films not only showcase emerging talent but also highlight the city as a vibrant backdrop for storytelling.

Beyond production, QUTV supports creators through every stage of the filmmaking process. From early development and producing, to resource and logistics management, location scouting, casting, and crew assembly, all the way through post-production and festival distribution, the organization provides hands-on guidance and infrastructure. This is further strengthened through partnerships with the Kingston Film Office, Cinema Society of Kingston, and Queen’s University’s Film Department, giving students access to shared resources and industry insight.
